We believe every child deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and experience joy beyond their injury. While many pediatric burn survivors return to a “new normal,” visible scars can place children at increased risk of isolation, ridicule, or bullying. Specialized pediatric burn camps provide a safe and empowering environment where children are surrounded by peers who understand their journey. These camps are often the only setting in which young survivors can fully enjoy the traditional summer camp experience without fear of judgment.
We are honored to support burn camps across the United States through funding, in-kind donations, and volunteer engagement—meeting the unique needs of each program every summer. Through these partnerships, we help serve thousands of children annually and strengthen a community where no young survivor feels alone.
We believe meaningful impact happens when community members step forward to serve. There are many ways to activate the mission—whether by volunteering at events, becoming a Task Force Leader, or simply sharing our message within your own networks. Every action strengthens our ability to support survivors and expand access to care.
With more than 486,000 burn injuries occurring annually in the United States and a critical shortage of burn surgeons, the need for long-term solutions is urgent. We are committed to funding burn fellowships each year to increase the number of specialized surgeons and advance research, development, and treatment. Through volunteer engagement and shared advocacy, we not only support survivors today—we help build the future of burn care for tomorrow.
